Asset.Desk offers a variety of flexible interfaces for the integration of third-party systems, e.g. ERP-systems, Active Directory, system management tools, etc.
The tool seamlessly integrates into existing system landscapes and processes and complements them with professional IT asset and license management.
In case Asset.Desk is the leading system in your system environment, it generates and manages the unique Asset-ID (inventory number) itself. In the other case, it receives the Asset-ID from the leading system via an interface. All in-house systems, such as HEINZELMANN, Install.Desk, Reserva, or the mobile apps, are also integrated with Asset.Desk via these interfaces.


The Open Data Protocol (OData) enables the exchange of data between
Asset.Desk and other systems. It acts as a modern web protocol and thus enables data access and data manipulation. In the Asset.Desk Mobile+ app, for example, this means that direct communication with Asset.Desk is possible without data redundancy.
A connection of third party systems to the gateway is possible at any time. Data exchange takes place via http(s) requests and responses in JSON format.


Numerous companies already use Microsoft SCCM for their software distribution and scanning processes. However, this product is not intended for IT asset management and cannot map all license models on the market.
Thanks to this interface, IT asset management and software asset management in Asset.Desk can be based on SCCM scan data. The SCCM interface makes it possible to use the inventory information collected with Microsoft’s own solution for all those who cannot rely on FCS’s excellent scanning methods here and have to introduce an ITAM into an existing enterprise environment with SCCM.

Active Directory Loader

Easily transfer master data of users, departments, rooms and locations from your Windows Active Directory to Asset.Desk.
The data from the Windows directory service can be synchronized regularly after the initial transfer. Thus, the maintenance of organizational data is done only once. The Active Directory remains the leading system.

Web Daemon

Transfer scan data over the Internet!
With the Web Daemon, the scan data of the local Windows Agents from those clients that are not connected to the company network can now be transferred via the Internet to a central server. This way you can always be sure that you have captured all your company computers – no matter where they are located!

komXwork interface

Asset.Desk offers a bidirectional interface to komXwork as an optional add-on module.
komXwork is an efficient document management software for modern administrations. It provides additional transparency and structure in operational processes and is used for electronic merging, archiving and management of documents. With the connection you can store and manage all your electronic documents, which you create and assign in Asset.Desk, centrally in komXwork. Documents are e.g. your requests for quotation, orders and delivery bills stored in pdf format or e-mails, letters, notes, pictures or any other files. This allows you to take advantage of the benefits that arise when you record and merge your documents in a structured filing system. The management of documents in komXwork offers a real added value and additional benefit to the operative inventory and management processes in Asset.Desk.

Integration with your software deployment tool

Connect your IT-infrastructure and software deployment tool
Use your Inventory data from Asset.Desk to distribute software target-oriented via Install.Desk. You see at first view, on which PCs the software app needs to be installed. You take those PCs automatically as Install.Desk-distribution group. After the distribution via Install.Desk, Asset.Desk informs you about the updated software status. Thus, the latest software status of these devices is available immediately in the inventory Database or rather in the Asset.Desk Database.

Integration with your helpdesk, service desk, or ITSM software

Connect your IT-infrastructure with your helpdesk, service desk oder ITSM software
Asset.Desk and HEINZELMANN ServiceDesk use a shared database. In combination, the tickets administered in Asset.Desk can be used as a reference for HEINZELMANN-tickets. This way additional possibilities for evaluation per device are available.

The captured support effort fro Helpdesk can be taken over into Asset.Desk. This way you can always follow the incurred expenses per cost unit or per department.
Used together, employee and company master data from Asset.Desk builds the base for wholistic configuration management and service support after ITIL.

Integration with the Reserva reservation portal

Asset.Desk is fully integrated with Reserva – the intuitive reservation portal for business purposes via the API interface and offers the benchmark in terms of API integration with inventory solutions.
