This is how it works:

  • Your users log on to Helpdesk with their known login data (e.g. from the Active Directory).
  • If your users always work at the same workstation, a “Remember-Me” function can be used to save the registration for later visits to HEINZELMANN
  • With each login the user data is automatically taken from the LDAP (e.g. Active Directory) and created or updated in HEINZELMANN

Compatible with various directory services

HEINZELMANN LDAP is “multi-LDAP capable”, which means that it supports not only the directory service from Microsoft, but also other LDAP-based directory services (e.g. Novell E-Directory). In addition, several LDAP directory services can be connected. So you can also easily cover distributed structures with HEINZELMANN.

More benefits through device and employee data from the Active Directory

With HEINZELMANN LDAP you can pull all employee data from LDAP and update them at the click of a button. With Active Directory you can even query the devices from the directory service and assign tickets.
