Software Kiosk

The web-based software kiosk is the self-service portal for employees in the company. With the software kiosk as a “pull system”, employees can decide for themselves whether and when they want to install which software applications.

The administrator puts in Install Desk only determines which applications in the form of jobs or packages are released for which user group. The administrator is relieved of a wide range of installation tasks.

  • The software kiosk runs in any browser and has a modern web design. Users use their familiar Windows log-in to access the kiosk.
  • The software kiosk as a web application communicates with the Install.Desk server via a REST API.


The software kiosk is an additional module that has to be licensed separately.
