We are software manufacturers for a leading IT asset management system in medium-sized companies. For the area of ​​lifecycle management of the system, we have identified the essential key figures (KPIs), which we want to offer cumulatively and on different levels in their own views in the system.

KPIs include the average age of the IT assets, the proportion of inventoried or audited assets, proportion of assets under warranty and maintenance, etc. The KPIs are available and are described. The basics in the system for displaying and processing the KPIs are created for you.

Based on Windows Forms .NET 5 technology, the following exciting tasks await you:

  • Proposals for UI/UX design for the preparation and display of the KPIs accumulated and in a drill-down level
  • UI/UX design to show changes, positive and negative trends and trends
  • Selection of a design proposal
  • Connection of the data level and prototypical realization of the KPI views
  • Drill-down technique based on various criteria, display in the detail level
  • Display of trends over time

The technical environment for development is Microsoft .NET 5, C#, Windows Forms, relevant previous experience is desirable.
The formulation of the topic for registration as a master's or bachelor's thesis must be agreed.
