New: Install.Desk makes it now possible to deploy software based on your Active Directory groups!

Today the new version Install.Desk 3.5 is available on our website. The Upgrade offers – besides improvements at design and menu – a new highlight: the new module ‘Active Directory Manager’ puts you in a position to deploy software based on your Active Directory groups!


That’s how it works:
You connect software packages (jobs) per drag & drop to certain Active Directory groups to specify a basic configuration. It is possible to distinguish between installation and deinstallation jobs.

And the best part:
If a device is moved from one group to another group, Install.Desk reacts automatically and starts the required installation or uninstallation jobs according to your specifications: as seen in the illustration, no longer required software from group A is removed and needed software of group B is installed. The device automatically receives the basic configuration which has been defined for the new group B. This way you can always be sure, that your clients get exactly the applications which are required for the respective unit. The costs of your administration decrease significantly – software deployment never has been so easy!

Attention: If you already use Install.Desk 3.0, you don’t need a new license for Install.Desk 3.5. Just start the setup and off you go!
