The new version primarily offers functional enhancements in lifecycle management and license management!

Lifecycle management

IT purchasing

• The object type can now be specified in the item group, which is to be used when the item is delivered to create the object in Asset.Desk is to be used, e.g. creating the delivery item as a PC, monitor, etc. This means that the later use of the item is already in the order item Asset.Desk clear.
• All addresses, whether billing or delivery addresses, are now managed in the respective company codes. Different addresses per company code are now possible.
• Billing and delivery addresses can now also be deactivated.
• In addition, additional fields for further address information have been added to the billing and delivery addresses.
• All delivery note numbers and the essential delivery note information are now displayed in a list on the order in a new tab. You have the delivery notes with numbers for the order at a glance.
• When sending inquiries and orders by email, one or more signatures can now be recorded and one or more templates can be used. Sender address (From), copy address (CC), subject and content can be pre-assigned for each e-mail template. There are also parameters available, for example for the transaction number, inquiry and order number, so that they can be used in the template. In this way, your e-mails can be precisely adapted to your requirements for transmission.
• Price information on preferred suppliers etc. has been added to the item lists

disposal 

If sub-objects still exist when an object is disposed of, for example a PC has assigned one or more monitors in the tree, then the user will be informed of this immediately before the actual disposal.

License management 

A field for the manufacturer's end of support has been added to the software catalogue, which is displayed in all important catalog and license lists. You can now always keep an eye on the end of support for a software product.

When changing the company code on the device or on the employee, licenses that do not correspond to the new company code are immediately separated. The system then attempts to allocate suitable licenses to the new company code.
