Extensions OS Packager
- Response files for Windows 10 operating systems are now also supported in the OS packager.
Extensions in vulnerability management
- The vulnerability management offers new reports on newly identified vulnerabilities and on the fixed vulnerabilities to support a security audit. If a vulnerability is manually excluded, the user can now be prompted to enter a reason.
New web-based software kiosk
- The highlight of the new version is the web-based software kiosk as a self-service portal for users. With the software kiosk as a "pull system", employees can decide for themselves whether and when they want to install which applications. In Install.Desk, the administrator only defines which applications in the form of jobs or packages are released for which user group. The administrator is relieved of a wide range of installation tasks. The software kiosk runs in any browser and has a modern web design. The software kiosk is an additional module that must be licensed separately. (Available January 2019 - please contact our Sales)
New reports for jobs and packages
- Two new standard reports for easy listing, evaluation, filtering and searching of installation jobs and installation packages have been added. From the reports, you can branch into the job tree or package tree for the line marked in each case.
