Inventory.Desk automatically scans all network devices and delivers detailed information about hardware and software installed on Windows and Linux devices. IP-based devices can be scanned via SNMP. Also Solaris and MacOS- devices will be recognized by the system. An automatic scan provides detailed hard- and software information at the push of a button, without the need of local agents being installed on the target clients. Scan complexity, scan contents and scan period can individually be set.

Besides hard- and software data, Inventory.Desk provides numerous diagnostic and administrator functions and reads out extensive network connecting data for each computer.

Capacious software audit and detailled hardware information

Inventory.Desk does not only read the "usual" basic information of your hard- und software. With regard to the hardware, it also collects comprehensive data of attached USB- devices, monitors and printers. There is also a profound software-audit available. Even unregistered software products can be tracked down by Inventory.Desk. You receive detailed information about recognised software which can be managed professionally this way.

Sophisticated license management

Inventory.Desk compares the bought licenses with the deploeyd licenses in your company. For this purpose it uses a software catalog which is able to display different license models by using individual software mapping.

Inventory.Desk shows, to which clients already have been assigned licenses. Thus, legal security increases und unneeded relicensing is avoided.

Even an assignment of several software licenses to one single client is no problem. Consequently terminal server licenses can be displayed without any problems.

Individual reporting

Last but not least, Inventory.Desk convinces because of numerous reports to all subjects and a comfortable report generator. The reports are individually sortable, groupable and adaptable and the listed data can be extracted and provided in different file formats.
